Usage Precautions

 

Proper Installation

Before installation, thoroughly clean the tool holder's tapered shank, the spindle interface, and the holder's inner bore to ensure they are free of chips, rust, or damage. The boring bar must be inserted along the full length of the tool holder; the overhang length must not exceed three times the boring bar's diameter (3×D) to prevent excessive vibration.

Correct Clamping

Use a torque wrench to tighten the clamping screws in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, avoiding overtightening or insufficient tightening. When installing the boring tool, take care to prevent the cutting edge from scraping violently against the inner surface of the tool holder, thereby avoiding damage to the cutting edge.

Safety Precautions

Protective eyewear, ear defenders, and safety gloves must be worn during operation. Avoid contact with rotating components and areas subject to high-pressure coolant spray.

Regular Inspection

Prior to each use, inspect the tool holder for dents, excessive wear, or damaged threads; any damaged components must be replaced immediately. Clean and lubricate the holder after use, and store it in a dry environment to prevent corrosion.

Prohibited Operations

It is strictly forbidden to clamp any tools or workpieces other than a boring bar. Do not touch the rotating tool holder before the machine has come to a complete stop for inspection.
