The working principle of the HSK-T Boring Bar Holder is primarily based on the high-precision dual-face contact technology (taper and flange) of the HSK interface, combined with a reliable mechanical clamping mechanism:

Dual-Face Positioning and High Rigidity Connection: The HSK interface adopts a dual-contact design where both the short tapered surface and the flange face fit tightly against the spindle. When the tool holder is inserted and clamped into the machine spindle, the tapered shank expands to mate securely with the spindle inner bore, while the flange face firmly abuts the spindle nose. This dual-surface contact significantly enhances bending rigidity as well as radial and axial repeatability.

High-Precision Clamping and Anti-Rotation Design: The boring bar or composite tool is securely locked inside the holder using high-strength bolts or mechanical/hydraulic clamping mechanisms.
