Our ISO standard CNC Carbide Turning Inserts are specially engineered for high-efficiency stainless steel machining. Manufactured from premium ultra-fine tungsten carbide substrates and advanced PVD coating technology, these inserts provide excellent wear resistance, heat resistance, and superior cutting performance under continuous and interrupted cutting conditions.
Available in SNMG, TNMG, VNMG and WNMG geometries, these inserts are widely used for external turning, roughing, semi-finishing and finishing operations on CNC lathes.

The CNC Carbide Turning Inserts is mechanically clamped onto a turning tool holder. During CNC machining, the rotating workpiece comes into contact with the insert's precision-ground cutting edge.
The sharp cutting edge removes excess material by shear deformation. The chip breaker geometry curls and breaks the chips into smaller segments, preventing chip entanglement and improving machining safety.
Meanwhile, the PVD coating minimizes friction between the insert and workpiece, reducing cutting temperature and protecting the carbide substrate from wear. This results in longer tool life, higher cutting stability, and superior machining accuracy.
