Product Description
Whistle Notch End Mill Holder consists of a precision-machined holder body, tapered shank interface, side locking screw, and 2° inclined locking surface.
The unique 2° angled notch design allows the locking screw to securely contact the tool shank, creating both radial clamping force and axial positioning force. This prevents the cutting tool from moving or pulling out under high cutting loads.
Working Principle
During CNC milling operations, cutting forces generate high torque and axial pulling forces, especially when using large diameter end mills or high helix cutters.
The side locking screw presses against the angled notch of the tool shank.
The 2° inclined surface converts part of the radial locking force into axial holding force.
The cutter is firmly pulled toward the holder seat.
The rigid connection improves torque transmission and machining stability.
Compared with traditional collet holders, side lock holders provide stronger anti-slip performance for heavy cutting applications
